FIDIC Engineer – Data Centres – 12 Month Contract – Frankfurt

Our client, a privately owned global construction consultancy, require the support of a FIDIC Engineer for their Frankfurt based project.

This exciting organisation have built a reputation for delivering first class project and cost management for CAPEX project globally. Their data centre division has doubled in size over the last 3 years having built a strong reputation for some of the biggest tech companies in the world – meaning there could be no better time to join.

FIDIC Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Administer the FIDIC D&B yellow book contract that will be used by the Client to engage the GC.
  • Implement quality controls with review and design compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements and related specifications
  • Manage staff and activities concerned with scheduling and resolving engineering design and construction problems
  • Provide direct oversight and evaluates/approves design changes, specifications and drawing releases.
  • Control expenditures within limitations of project budget
  • Review project plans and proposals, then works with client to develop project objectives
  • Identify project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project
About you:
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or other suitable engineering related discipline
  • Strong technical delivery experience
  • 10 years’ + experience
  • Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner
  • Excellent specification writing skills
  • Detailed understanding of FIDIC Contracts
