Global Procurement Manager IT - Energies - Antwerp - 18-Month Contract

Responsibilities: 
  • Lead and develop the CPC IT team
  • To lead the CPC IT team and cross functional working groups to achieve a high level of performance, integration and consistency in procurement across the category.
  • To provide category expert advice and knowledge to key stakeholders of respective global supply markets, competitors and product innovations
  • To act as account manager between the client and Suppliers, and establish and maintain a strong business relationship to ensure the highest level of service delivery
  • To build strong relationships with internal customers and ensure customer satisfaction
  • To facilitate communication between your department and other departments, and implement improvement actions where required
  • To prepare and lead agreement negotiations on high impact, complex supply arrangements and contract issues in cross functional teams to deliver better category outcome.

Requirements: 
  • Management skills: Managing spend of approximately Mio € 50-70
  • Risk impact: supply interruptions of IT/IS goods and services with risk op business interruption, less efficient employees due to unavailability of IT ware.
  • People skills: able to manage a team of 6
  • Deep understanding of the client's business needs and expectations of internal customers
  • Profound knowledge of IT market, domain and related categories
  • Good knowledge of English (Dutch, French and German is a plus
  • Postgraduate degree preferred
