New contract opportunity for an IT Help Desk Technician to report IT service issues and requests in a global environment. This will be an initial 6 month contract but with fantastic, long term potential. Start date will be March or April following a successful MS Teams interview process. This role requires someone onsite at the client office 2 or 3 days per week, the rest remote.
IT Service Desk Technician Responsibilities:
- Logging service calls and emails in the customer CRM system;
- Analyzing and dispatching incidents o
- Escalating user and support service requests when necessary
- Assisting in updating the technical information database, the Service Desk knowledge base, Service Desk workflow, procedures and operating level agreements;
- Providing standby and on-call support, and working in shifts if and when required;
- Performing other duties as required
You will have:
- IT support experience or education plus training in IT, preferably with diploma.
- English language skills (written and verbal)
- Prior experience of providing tier 1 support to users would be ideal.
- As would experience with at least one of the following: MS SQL Server, SAP ERP, O365, Networks.
