M&E Project Manager – Data Centres - Ireland - 12 Months + Extension

Our client are leading specialists in construction, infrastructure and fit-out and are well established within the data centre sector. They are taking on new projects across Europe and this is a fantastic opportunity to join their team.

We have an exciting opportunity with this client that go the extra mile to deliver complex projects across a variety of sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting, budget control and management of project schedule.
  • Raising and management of purchase orders
  • As a Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Project Manager you will be responsible for running the whole or part of site (on larger projects), ensuring smooth operation and delivery of high quality M&E systems to budget and within program.
  • Agreeing the timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver the project
  • Reporting regularly on progress to the client and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with M & E and safety codes, and other regulations
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
  • Design review / management
  • Construction management / site supervision
  • Generation of project documentation (URB, tender docs etc)
Skills and Experience Needed:
  • A pharmaceutical project background.
  • Full project lifecycle experience.
  • A mechanical and electrical background (mech/elec or M&E)
  • Experience of implementation and managing external suppliers
  • Be able to work on their own initiative or lead small teams
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at once
