Mechanical & Electrical Cx Engineers/Lead – Across Europe – 12-Month Contracts with extension.

Looking for an opportunity to join a global Data Centre Cx Agent that specialise in supporting hyperscale clients in the Data Centre industry throughout the EMEA region?

Having received significant project demands in Europe, this young and growing data centre commissioning specialist is looking to expand the team and require additional Mechanical and Electrical Cx Engineers to join and support the team that take data centre design to client occupation. 

Role responsibilities

This role is for a commissioning engineer so while QAQC may factor as part of the role, primarily, this commissioning engineering will be:
  • Support the commissioning team for the commissioning of Chilled Water based systems, HVAC systems, HV/MV systems, UPS systems, Distribution and Generator systems and free cooling technologies and controls for mission critical projects.
  • Writing, managing and executing L3, L4 and L5 commissioning with vendors
  • Supporting and overseeing IST (Integrated system testing)
  • Troubleshooting engineering issues and participating in the IRL process
  • Participating/chairing commissioning and progress meetings and issuing meeting minutes
  • Represent the Cx agent on projects in a professional manner
Requirements
  • Previous experience in L3-L5 & IST testing and commissioning
  • Experience writing and executing commissioning scripts for a Data Centre
  • Must be proficient in computer systems including commissioning software (e.g., Compass, BIM 360, Facility Grid etc.), word, excel, powerpoint
  • Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
  • L8 degree in or equivalent in engineering.
  • Trade qualification also considered with suitable experience
