Messaging and O365 Engineer – 6 Month Contract – Onsite in Spain or Italy

We have a brand-new contract opportunity for a Messaging and O365 Engineer to join our client, an international IT service provider, and deliver on-going support and administration of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Active Directory and other related messaging and collaboration systems.

Working on a freelance contract until the end of this year with long term extensions, you will provide 2 or 3 days activity onsite in Valencia, Spain or Brindisi, Italy, working the remainder of the week remotely.

Messaging and O365 Engineer Responsibilities:

Design, implementation, administration and maintenance of Microsoft 365 email solutions and related systems including Microsoft Exchange 2016, Exchange 2019, Exchange Online and hybrid-based messaging infrastructure as well as other M365 services like MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Yammer, MS Defender, Power Platform.
Responsible for design, final testing and deployment of M365 services and email solutions and related systems.
Analyse the technical needs of customer, end-users and all stakeholders.
Analyse partners overall requirements and develop a comprehensive plan that meets overall goals and objectives as a part of service level management process.

About you:

4 years of experience in managing, operating, and maintaining a large, multi-site and complex messaging infrastructure based on Microsoft Exchange.
1 year of experience working with customers on Cloud and M365 specific solutions and deployments.
Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience as global administrator for Microsoft 365 tenant.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019/Exchange Online.
Good understanding of MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Yammer.
Exposure in migration projects from on-premises systems to Microsoft 365 and/or tenant to tenant migration.
Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal).
