Principle Civil and Structural Engineer - Data Centre - London - 12-Month Contract 

This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre operator that has been recognised for as one of fastest growing and well-known groups in the industry.

Having received significant investment, this established data centre group is in their next phase of growth and require the expertise of an Principle Civil and Structural Engineer. They have established partnerships with many of the well-known technology powerhouses and tailor to their development to their client's requirements.  



Responsibilities:
  • Develop Vantage Data Center’s projects from concept through to detailed design working closely with the project design manager to support successful delivery of the project from conception to completion for structural and civil work packages
  • Work with the project design team to constantly review progress and report on successes and failures so that continual improvement can be realised

  • Complete site audits and report on programme and quality through inspection reports


Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years minimal, 7+ years preferred overall design experience preferred+
  • MSc / MEng in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical information in a variety of forms to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in the use of structural engineering design software.
  • Knowledge of design development, construction documentation, and project delivery of data centres/similar projects and infrastructure projects according to RIBA work stage of design is desirable
