MEP Project Manager - Data Centre - Oslo, Norway 

Our client is a hugely successful project management consultancy that help global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects. They are currently looking for an MEP Project Manager to assist on Data Centre projects in Oslo, Norway.


The desired candidate would be responsible for:
  • Manage on a day-to-day basis, all resources, activities, work packages and deliverables needed to achieve the required project objectives, working across all internal functions (technical design, commercial and operational etc.) and external contractors / suppliers
  • Provide timely, clear, accurate and consistent project progress reporting to all stakeholders showing early identification of potential time-delayed threats and forecast deviations from budget together with pro-active problem solutions.
  • Produce and maintain all required relevant project documentation
  • Break down and analyse challenges into smaller components to solve    and simplify processes and prioritise objects critical to success
  • Developing a positive team culture in your respective projects through collaboration, joint achievement of objects and establish a passion for operational excellence
  • Conduct weekly meetings with project teams to provide feedback and assist in addressing concerns and removing roadblocks
  • Enforce and pursue coordination between internal engineering teams across all disciplines to ensure products delivered to Operations are streamlined and optimised to meet the needs of the business across all functions

Your profile
  • A self-motivated individual who is resourceful, with the ability to build working relationships quickly and effectively
  • Possess a zero downtime mentality
  • Highly motivated and pro-active attitude to work
  • Able to prioritise and deal with evolving needs, working at pace to very high quality, whilst having a keen eye for detail.
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity, bringing clarity and control in a dynamic environment.
  • Mechanical biased with a particular focus on fan walls, chillers and control panels
