Site Manager - Frankfurt, Germany - 70,000-75,000 EUR  - 14-Month Contract 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our fast growing client in their Frankfurt based project building a large data centre. The owners are very involved day to day and are looking to hire strong mission critical candidates with rights to work across Europe who would like to quickly progress their careers within a medium sized business.  


Responsibilities: 
  • Plan forthcoming site labour requirements.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and in accordance with agreed programme.   
  • Safeguard the Company’s position by ensuring relevant site events are recorded and reported in writing to the Project Manager / Contracts Manager.
  • Notify Project Manager / Contracts Manager of material requirements as quickly as possible to ensure no delays.
  • Manage direct labour costs and ensure works are completed on or better than budget.
  • Maintain close contact with the main contractor at site level at all stages of the contract.
  • Ensure all works on site are undertaken in accordance with safe working practices and current Health and Safety legislation, be constantly vigilant to any actual or potential hazards, and encourage such vigilance among all site personnel.
  • Ensure installations are carried out in accordance with the agreed specification and working drawings.

Requirements: 
  • One manager for roofing, one for facades and curtain walling
  • Minimum 3 years experience in construction works
  • A background in Data centres, High tech manufacturing, pharma or similar is desirable  
  • Exposure to roofing and cladding envelopes (this can be limited experience of roofing being a small part of a large construction package)
  • Ability to people manage employees and sub-contractors
  • Degree qualified construction or engineer background
  • Working closely with the PM and senior site manager to mobilise all site resource
  • EU passport and happy to work all across the EU on different projects after this project
