We know our team members have made a conscious choice to work at Quanta, and we are constantly striving to make it the best place possible for them to be. With a low attrition rate and average employment term of 6.5 years, our team is dedicated, loyal and love what they do. Here’s why they stick with us:

We are One Team

We are so committed to our One Team ideology that we have implemented it as one of Quanta’s core values. It is incredibly important for us to be open, honest and collaborative in our work, both with clients and internally. This means sharing clients and candidates across the business, with peer-nominated prizes for strong performances across every single department. We celebrate success together and support each other to achieve the best results possible. This collaborative environment has resulted in significant business success, with Quanta providing services to clients in more than 20 countries across six continents since we began in 1992.

Our team receives dedicated ongoing professional training, including the option to learn and develop German and French language skills. We also have three onsite trainers to provide career support to every team member in the company. It’s not about the individual at Quanta - it’s about how we work together.

“We also have a PEG (Peer Enhancement Group) run by a member of the Quanta Sales Team. The purpose of the group is to utilise the skills and experiences of a senior team member as ‘mentor’. This person acts as an alternative to your manager and a friendly face to bounce ideas off and gain additional support from. The group meets up once a month to share successes and work through ways of overcoming objections gained during the course of a working day.” - Guy Weekly, Principal Consultant

We do good work - and work for good

We don’t set KPIs for our team as everyone here is driven to do their best work every day. We are results-focused and have experienced strong financial growth in the last six years in particular, but we expect our staff to be self-driven in order to contribute to this success - and they are.

Our success has been recognised within the industry, most recently with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2016 for International Trade, and we are one of 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain. But we pride ourselves on more than just our high levels of service and business success.

Quanta is proud to support three carefully selected charities - The Pepper FoundationThomley and The Silver Line. Along with hosting regular fundraising drives for these organisations, our staff earn points through their everyday work that can be converted into pounds donated to their chosen charity. Acts such as arranging interviews and placing candidates can contribute to more money for these brilliant causes, giving our team members even more of an incentive to do their best work every day.

‘We often host fantastic fundraising days, not only to raise money, but to enjoy what we do and have fun! Most recently this included a Halloween Bake off and fancy dress competition. Quanta certainly abide by their values!’ - Evie Plumb, Business Support Specialist

We encourage a fun and friendly environment

As we expect a high standard of work from our team members, we make sure we provide them with an environment that is as conducive to fun as it is hard work. Our office penthouse is home to a ball pit, foosball table, giant Jenga, table tennis and gaming stations, making it the perfect relaxation area away from the hustle and bustle of the main office. We enjoy socialising as a team in and around Berkhamsted and have been known to enjoy holidays when celebrations are in order.

“The ‘Inaugural Penthouse Games” will no doubt soon become a reality, but in the meantime, it’s lunch-break and post-work competition for some of the Quanta team. Table tennis, or “ping pong” or “whiff-whaff” for some, is most popular with daily challenges that make Murray-Djokovic Wimbledon finals seem like child’s play! From helping overcome calorie-laden lunches to winding down a busy day of sales, this has been a great addition to Quanta’s all-round sense of fun and wellbeing, and who knows….maybe there’s a future world champion honing their skills!” - Alex McCrudden, Principal Consultant

The Quanta team culture is brilliant and we are always interested in sharing it with bright, driven people who want to be part of a great organisation. If that sounds like you, contact our Internal Recruiter Georgia Bartropp to talk through your career options.
