Why should you take your recruitment career to Quanta?
With more than 25 years’ experience, a myriad of awards and a strong presence in three established international sectors, it’s safe to say that Quanta is a great place to grow your career and achieve your professional goals. On top of this, the ‘One Team’ ethos and close-knit, fun-filled office makes it a genuinely warm and friendly place to work. The good news? We’re always looking for driven, energetic people to join the Quanta family. Talent Delivery Partner Georgia Bartropp explains what she’s looking for in a candidate, and why you should consider Quanta for your next career step:
“The progression opportunities here are a real drawcard”
For recruiters at any stage of their career – and particularly those looking to step up and take on additional responsibilities – Quanta’s development and progression opportunities are particularly appealing. With a clear and direct path to new positions, including associate directorship, ambitious and motivated recruiters can flourish. Recruiters who may have plateaued at other agencies or found themselves hitting a ceiling in terms of progression can find new avenues and opportunities at Quanta, where every single member of the team has a clearly defined progression path.
“We don’t hire on ideals – we look for personality and culture fit as well as experience”
When recruiting new consultants to Quanta, Georgia doesn’t look for one type of person. She says there’s no perfect candidate, with the Quanta team being made up of people from a variety of different backgrounds, experience levels and industries. Personality is a key element when it comes to hiring new talent, with Quanta’s values helping to ascertain whether someone might be a good fit for the business. Drive and ambition are important for all team members to have, and if you have the desire to bring something new to the table, develop your skills and continue to push Quanta forward, you’ll be a perfect fit.
“We treat people like adults and refuse to micro-manage”
Autonomy is a big thing for the whole Quanta team, with Georgia saying the management style across the board is very supportive without being overbearing. Quanta recruiters respond best to an environment that allows them to be autonomous and manage their own time, which is different from more KPI-driven agencies throughout the UK. Our experience tells us that consultants are motivated when they are trusted to work independently and with a view to progress, so we that’s exactly what we offer at Quanta.
“You can run your own desk and travel abroad”
Many of the team are motivated by the opportunity to run their own desk, establish their own sub-sectors and travel internationally for client visits. Because of Quanta’s strong focus on understanding client requirements, it’s important for us to physically go to client sites to ensure we can match the right clients with the right candidates. As such, this year consultants have travelled to the Bahamas, Philippines and India, to name just a few destinations.
“We’re proud to be different”
Georgia believes the ethos of Quanta is a step apart from others in the industry, with the entire team bought into the core vision and values. Whether you work in finance and administration or you’re the top billing consultant, you have your own bespoke development plan and structured training sessions, working as part of one team that celebrates success together. Everyone is rewarded together, no one is pitted against each other and Georgia says the environment is a breath of fresh air compared to other agencies.
